  1. Confirm your membership

    Your agency must be a member of the cooperative before it orders.

    State agencies, counties, municipalities, special districts, other political subdivisions and qualifying non-profits sign an Interlocal Contract with H-GAC.

  2. Request a Delta quote on contract

    Tell us which contract you're buying on and send your list, with part numbers, sizes and quantities if you have them. Delta quotes it against that contract.

  3. Issue your purchase order

    Make the PO out to the vendor name on the contract and include the contract number.

The cooperative competitively procured the contract. HGACBuy notes that use of a contract may still require an additional competitive step, for example when a grant or funding agency requires quotes from more than one contractor. Whether a cooperative purchase meets your requirements depends on your state's law, your local purchasing policy and your funding source, so confirm with your purchasing office before you order.
