Innotex GRAY Hood 25 Three-Layer Particulate Barrier Hood

The GRAY Hood 25 is Innotex's three-layer knit hood: a Nomex/Lenzing outer, a Stedair PREVENT barrier in the middle, and an FR viscose liner against the skin. It is the volume hood on Delta's shelf in this line, which matters when a department needs to outfit a full roster in one order rather than backfill over a quarter.

Construction

• Outer layer: 20% Nomex / 80% Lenzing
• Middle layer: a proprietary version of Stedair PREVENT, air permeable, with 100% coverage throughout the entire hood
• Inner layer: 100% FR viscose multi-filament liner, described by the manufacturer as quick-drying with high wicking and less prone to piling than a standard Nomex/Lenzing material
• Layers 2 and 3 are laminated together, reducing the bulk of multiple layers

• THL of 427 and TPP of 22.6
• Barrier layer blocks particulates 0.1 µm to 1.0 µm by greater than 98%

Stocked in M/L and XL. If you are moving a department onto barrier hoods for the first time, plan the cleaning and inspection procedure at the same time as the purchase - a barrier hood that is laundered like a single-layer knit will not stay in service as long as the buy assumed.
