Same turnout gear.
Different materials.
Departments are not choosing between two turnout coats. Both Delta Deluxe packages are the same Morning Pride EDGE bunker gear ensemble — the same cut, the same pockets, the same trim, the same build. What changes is the three-layer material system underneath, and the price.
Still comparing specs? Delta supplies structural turnout gear three ways, and runs rental and loaner programs for academies, probationary firefighters and gear that is out for service.

Three layers.
Two packages.
Every set of structural firefighting turnout gear is a three-layer system: outer shell, moisture barrier, thermal liner. The two Delta Deluxe packages differ only in what those three layers are made of.
Switching the tab switches all three layers at once, because that is how the packages are specified.
Fireground side
Wearer side
The bracket is the point. The three layers ship as one specified set. You are choosing between two complete packages — not picking a shell, a barrier and a liner separately.
- Layer 01 · Outer shell Nomex Proven FR protection. Outermost layer — takes the abrasion, flame and water contact.
- Layer 02 · Moisture barrier Stedair 4000 Superior liquid-tight and breathable barrier.
- Layer 03 · Thermal liner Q‑8 Efficient thermal insulation. Innermost layer.

These values do not apply to the Nomex configuration. No TPP or THL value is published here for the Nomex package. Confirm the certified values for your final configuration on your department quote.

What departments
ask us.
The questions that come up most when a department is specifying Delta Deluxe turnout gear. Anything not answered here, ask your Delta representative.
What is included in the Delta Deluxe price?
A complete set of structural firefighter turnout gear — coat and pant together — on the Morning Pride EDGE platform, with the full standard Delta Deluxe feature package. The Nomex package is $2,299 per coat-and-pant set and the non‑PFAS package is $2,499 per coat-and-pant set. Lettering and identification are priced separately: $5 per letter and $75 for a hanging name plate.
What is the difference between the two Delta Deluxe packages?
Only the three-layer material system. Both packages are the same Morning Pride EDGE bunker gear — the same cut, pockets, trim and build. The Nomex package uses a Nomex outer shell, Stedair 4000 moisture barrier and Q‑8 thermal liner. The non‑PFAS package uses Milliken’s Horizon outer shell, Assure moisture barrier and Equinox 2‑Layer thermal liner. Each package is specified as a fixed set; the layers are not mixed between packages.
Does non‑PFAS mean the whole turnout gear garment is PFAS-free?
No, and it is worth being precise about this. Horizon, Assure and Equinox 2‑Layer are specified with no intentionally added PFAS. That is a statement about those three Milliken materials as specified. It is not a certification of the finished garment as a whole, and Delta does not present it as one.
What are the TPP and THL values for Delta Deluxe?
The non‑PFAS material package publishes TPP 38.2 and THL 293, as shown on the 2026 Delta Deluxe flyer. Those values apply to that material package only. No TPP or THL value is published here for the Nomex package — ask your Delta representative, and confirm the certified values for your final configuration on your quote.
What turnout coat shell colors can we order?
The Nomex package is available in Natural, Yellow, Black and Tan. The non‑PFAS package is available in Gold and Black. Shell color does not change the material package — the two are specified separately.
Can we buy Delta Deluxe on a cooperative purchasing contract?
Yes. Cooperative purchasing contract options are available for departments that buy that way. See Delta’s contract purchasing options, or ask your representative which route fits your department’s procurement rules.
How does turnout gear sizing work?
Delta provides sizing support and on-site fit sessions. Sizing is settled before the order is placed, not after — the final specification, sizing and configuration are confirmed on your department quote.
Does Delta clean, inspect and repair the turnout gear it sells?
Yes. Delta runs turnout gear cleaning and inspection and repair and alteration programs, and supplies rental and loaner turnout gear to keep firefighters in service while their own gear is out.
Lead time, warranty and certification questions are answered by your Delta representative for your specific configuration.
