Husqvarna K970 14 in. Gas Power Cutter, 6.5 HP Engine
Delta sells the Husqvarna K 970 to departments that keep a gas power cutter on the apparatus. Two things decide that purchase: how much the saw will cut, and whether it starts after sitting in a compartment. The K 970 answers the first with a 6.5 hp engine, blades up to 14 inches and a maximum cutting depth of about 5 inches, and the second with an air purge, a decompression valve, digital ignition and a refined carburetor. Every figure here is Husqvarna's; the K 970 carries no fire-service rating and Delta does not claim one for it.
