The MITHD9 is a non-contact hotstick that tells you whether AC voltage is present before anyone commits to a position, from 21 inches away rather than at arm's length. It is used by fire, EMS, law enforcement, and industrial safety personnel doing the same job: clear the area electrically before working it.
