Veridian Viper Max Nano 820 Full-Coverage Particulate Hood

The Viper Max Nano 820 is Veridian's full-coverage hood built on a three-layer laminated composite with a Nomex Nano Flex particulate barrier from DuPont. Full coverage means the barrier is carried through the crown, face opening, bibs, head surround and front neck panel rather than stopping at the head. Departments writing a barrier hood into the PPE spec buy this style when they want the construction documented panel by panel.

Construction

The hood is built from six composite fabric panels: crown, face opening, front and back bib, head surround panel and front neck panel. It uses a bound hem and an elastic face opening for fit and for donning and doffing. All stitching meets Federal Standard 751 specifications, with reinforced seams. Each hood is labeled in accordance with NFPA requirements, including material content, UL certification and date of manufacture. Solid black inner and outer knit, contrast orange stitching, centered Veridian emblem on the front bib.
